Plans for an EV Charging Hub and Drive-Thru facilities opposite Coventry Building Society Arena
Welcome to our website on plans for an EV Charging Hub and drive-thru facilities at land fronting Jimmy Hill Way off the Rowley’s Green Roundabout, opposite Coventry Building Society Arena.
Our public consultation has now closed and we are analysing the feedback received. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Please visit the website regularly for updates on our future planning application.
The plans include regenerating the former Rowley’s Green Working Men’s Club site and delivering:
-
An Electric Vehicle Charging Hub with up to 20 dedicated rapid charge bays
-
An ideal location on the strategic road network, utilising available power connections to deliver a fast-charging facility
-
An EV-associated drive-thru facility
-
Additional Convenience Retail, Food & Beverage [drive-thru] facilities at the site with their own car parking and internal seating, available to users of the EV hub, with discussions already advanced with well-loved national operators
-
A mix of up to 140 new full and part-time job opportunities for local residents and people from the surrounding area
-
Access road improvements, including a new dedicated access for the neighbouring residential site occupants, a design approved by the council as part of a previous planning consent
-
Landscaping improvements across the site
